Newly admitted students of 8th std were given the dictionaries.

Toilet blocks were renovated completely and hand wash stations were built in these schools. 530 dictionaries were also distributed in all the 4 schools as part of the Global Grant project. 

Renovated toilet blocks were inaugurated on the 27th of September at the Govt schools of Akkirampura, Koratagere, Vaddagere and Holavanahalli Villages of Koratagere Taluk in Tumkur District.

The basic facility of wash rooms and hand wash stations were lacking in these schools and this was identified by Rotary Bangalore Peenya almost a year ago.

Under the first global grant project #1755970 with Rotary Club of Wolverhampton, RI Dist 1210 as the International partner, with PDG Rtn Richard Green as the prime contact person, this project was taken up at a budget of $ 29,300.
